Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): FS 1 & FS2

  • The holistic approach aligns with our ethos and shows how the student’s development is linked to the world and people around them.
  • The curriculum is built around four key areas of early childhood development:
  • The method cultivates knowledge, comprehension, and skills through a spiral process, where topics and skills are revisited and explored more thoroughly at each stage.
  • Supports learners in achieving internationally recognized early developmental milestones. While children develop at different rates, the curriculum offers a structured approach to teaching and learning, aiding in monitoring and supporting each child’s progress.
  • Promotes a bilingual or multilingual approach for learners who speak languages other than English at home, as well as those with varying levels of English proficiency.
  • Prepares learners for a smooth transition into Cambridge Primary or their next educational stage.
  • The content is divided into six curriculum areas to offer guidance and facilitate progress.
